City Council Member Terms and Ballot Measures

Rolling Hills City Council Members serve four-year terms that are staggered, with an election every two years. At this year’s election, there are four candidates running for the two positions being elected.  The two candidates receiving the most votes will be elected to office for a four-year term.

The ballot measures Measure A (Stable) and Measure B (View Ordinance) will be adopted if a simple majority (over 50%) of the voters participating in the election support the measure.  A yes vote is in favor and a no vote is in opposition.
